Speedvagen goodness

Yeah new China carbon fork with hole could help with routing and weight!

Have you even read the thread? Suggesting a steel stem >>>

• #157
New headset could be an option.

apologies, I just never thought you'd be a weenie .. apparently you can buy Sim Works through Rad Bikes in Lewisham now.
-
• #159
That is interesting news ...
-
• #160
No worries :-)
I have never done a "WW" project before, but I am having fun with this.
I like Sim, but not for this one. -

Nice build Mads!

He could make a stem lighter and less agri than this himself

Tak Mikkel. As you see I got some forks in the end.

I think I might go for this headset https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Ritchey-WCS-Cross-Drop-In-Headset_69884.htm
Previous owner has talked about my current forks chatting quite a bit when braking. I don't mind a bit of judder, but an integrated headset hanger should help.
I would like a fork crown mounted hanger, but I don't feel like drilling the forks. -

Any light fork is going to have some shudder, in my experience. compromise you take I suppose. I had a little with that headset and the ritchey WCS fork: I could live with it though.
-
• #167
Yeah. Once in a race you don't mind I guess.

• #169
those are great fucking brakes, possibly greatest rim brakes ever.
-
• #170
greatest cantilever brakes ever
-
• #171
They look dope. That's all that matters. I might actually build a frame around these someday...
-
• #172
dont ever ever sell those
-
• #173
I have had these before. Sold it to a guy on here. Can't remember who.
But more seriously I have the possibility of buying a pair of Enve tapered canti forks suuuuper cheap which makes me think I should build a 130mm rear spaced sscx frame for next season.

Cheers very much. Let you know when they arrive.

I removed some logos on the bars and fitted my new brakes. So. Much. Chatter.
It felt fine during tonights training session but it is not nice in traffic.
I also swapped the carbon post for a Zipp one I had laying around. Carbon was making to much noise making me feel uncomfortable.
Yes, but them forks ain't got no hole. Looking at some other ones but it might be a bit spendy...
