Also built the madigan up, but I need to sell that unfortunately and maybe even this Dawes, because I am collecting a proper MTB tonight (Trek Roscoe 8) and need the space and funds. Been after an XL hardtail, 27.5, 1x with a dropper post for a while.

Commuted to work all summer which was enjoyable on my Kaffenback, even if the cycling infrastructure in the Midlands/North isn't quite there yet.

Dawes is fully done and may be up for sale soon (any interest here?). Just had a new headset and shimano V brakes installed by a local mechanic, and I just bolted on the Bluemels and nukeproof grips.

Enjoying my new MTB and riding in Sheffield too. I sold my Kaffenback, hoping to use the funds from that, the fixed madigan and this Dawes to have a better steel road bike with guards for commuting/odd longer rides/riding into town and maybe some light touring. End of thread I guess - cheers for all the help.

Anyone interested in this? I am definitely selling it as I haven't got the room to keep it. After £150 - Perfect pub bike. Full working order with new brake pads and cables and headset mentioned above, just needs the rear wheel spacing adjusting slightly :)
