I might try and find some shark bites for my hardrock. That said I donβt remember them being that grippy despite the damage.

When used with shoes with soft soles ( Vans, All stars), grip was superb. I've seen many downhillers using that combination.

Here's my current project. There's a very stuck aluminum seat post in there which I had gone absolutely apeshit on without it budging a millimeter. It's out now after dissolving it with NaOH. I'll post up some pics of the aftermath in a bit.
My general plan for the bike is a suspension corrected rigid fork and single speed. Details lacking.
