  • One of my dream bikes as a kid

  • I can see why :), this is the 95 model, out before i was born...

  • One thing about riding a Cinelli Multifluore is that even after thirty odd years the paint job still gets comments.

Overheard today from a little girl and her mum by the Thames "Look at that rainbow bike mother"..."yes isn't it cool".

Then a little later on in Carshalton park from some little scrote to his herbert mates "Look - LGBT bike!".

    Ah well.

  • I know the feeling well, but most people refer to mine as simply "retro". The majority have no idea what Cinelli or Moser means.

  • Great paint job, and perfect location for a photo!

  • Flite...XT mech...rigid...U brake...rainbow paint job.

    All checks out.

  • SLR, XT mechs, XT shifters, Salt rear U brake, Cane Creek Direct Curve 5 CNC front brake, XTR blocks, Avid Speed dial levers, Mavic X222 rims on Deore hubs, XT headset, Alpina post, Ultegra BB, R563 cranks, MX30DX pedals. Stem & bars are Italmanubri (shipped from Italy with the frame and forks). Tubing is Oria Molibden S. Frame dates from around 1990.

  • Thought this might be the eight place to ask:

    Came across this on ebay

    Anyone got info on this?

    Love the abbreviation

  • aren't these nineties Saracen or Orange forks?

  • Raleigh... (should have checked the ad first)

  • Yep, Raleigh. They superceded the oh-so-cool but oh-so-noodley Direct Control titanium triple clamp forks designed by Reg Trimnell of X-Lite fame.

  • these are just what I need for my Diablo. You bidding on them dude? If so I will stand down

  • Happy if you bid on them

They just came across some of my search alerts and I thought I ask here about it out of interest as they look pretty rad

    GL bidding

Please send a pic in case u win and mount them

    Cheers

  • nice one dude. yep. am going to bid. and if I win they will be mounted for sure. might take a little while as have some other tweaking to do. will post pic for sure though. ta

  • Had this 90s commuting beast in the other day, pretty light and rode great, owner saved it from the bins as students moved out for the year and just dumped it

  • Early nineties Cannondale. Nice find.

  • Those cranks will be worth a pretty penny! Any other trick 90's parts on it?

  • Yeah, advised them to look after it and come back to us when they want to sell (leaving the uk next year). Just xt parts of same era, bb looked fancy too, maybe ti (found a few over the years)

  • Work in progress

  • Just bought this. Would like to adjust the cockpit (more rise, different bars) but I've not seen one of these -- is that a 1" threadless stem?
