Should be fine.
I'm running 105 hydro shifter with XT caliper. No problems. -

If you don't want to wait and save yourself a bit of money I saw this on ebay yesterday:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Shimano-Ultegra-Di2-6800-11-speed-Rear-Mech-Derailleur/232477011171?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649Btw, which size rotor did you get?

Won't work with 11-34 cassette and not direct mount compatible
-
• #755
oh right fair enough
-
• #756
I have that, half price
-
• #757
new?
-
• #759
Alright I will pass then thanks though

• #760
Amey.
Keen to take this for my build if you're willing to post. Will PM
-
• #761
160 front 140 rear
-
• #762
ok...the GF weight less than 50kg and this is going to be more of a roady build so I was thinking 140 for both will do.
-
• #764
Was that on a small size fork?
-
• #765
Data sheet says 160mm is fine on front, however I haven't built a bike with the OEM fork, so I'll find a 12mm wheel and check today.
-
• #766
No, the futura gravel.
-
• #767
Frame takes 140 at the front right?
-
• #768
Frame takes 140mm, fork takes 160mm.
-
• #769
ok thanks
-
• #770
But if ridden backwards frame takes 140 at the front

direct mount compatible
@coldharbour
Do we know if the the frames will come with any adapters to be able to mount a traditional derailleur (instead of direct mount)? -
• #772
They come with a standard hanger as standard, you'd need to spec the direct mount one to get that. If you haven't asked for one don't worry you'll get the traditional style.
-
• #773
Ah. I didn't realise that was an option.
Is it an integrated part of the frame or replaceable? I'd be keen to go direct mount in the future once the new Ultegra di2 comes out.
-
• #774
Replaceable hanger, 2 bolts and its off.
-
• #775
Phew.
Is it possible to mix between MTB and road calipers (shimano)for hydro brakes and still use for example 8070 shifters?
Nice to know for future projects or when a replacement is needed
Thx
