Personally going to go with a set of the well regarded radial mudguards for now and upgrade to PDW city in black when they become available.
Would stick with the radials, but would prefer the extra width and coverage of the PDW for when running 650b

I’m also a fan of the Radial mudguards. I like the fixings on the stays...and they are a third of the price of PDW.

Hell of a lot cheaper for sure. Got mine for £17. PDW are something like £90.

Condor says they have them in stock

Bingo. Was on there yesterday and they were sold out.

Do the PDW often go out of stock? I will need a pair of black ones in 45 in 2 to 3 months time and wondering if worth buying now.

Also happy birthday @coldharbour!

The question is, do I buy and gamble the bike will fit my tyre/rim combo with clearance for fenders
Or do I wait until I have the frame to be certain.

• #1163
wait

• #1164
Buy.
Everything can be made to fit with a big enough hammer.
-
• #1165
And by the time I know if there is clearance they'll be sold out again.
-
• #1166
They're not end of life, they'll come back in stock, you won't have wasted any money and bikes still work without mudguards
-
• #1167
Buy them and if they don't fit I will buy them off you.....at a 50% discount :)...Joke apart I will need a pair so I am happy to be your back up buyer if it does not fit. Trouble with mudguards is the posting/delivery part. Are you in London?

And is that a dynamo wire sticking out the saddle?
Before it gets lost too far up thread, what seatpost is that, and does it allow routing of the dynamo cable through it?
Thanks!
(spending an inordinate amount of time thinking about wiring options.)

Yeah it is, but on the wrong post. It's an enve one which there is no access or easy way to drill. Thomson and fizik are the posts I've done the mod on most, but I do plan to make a carbon audax post for this, isen branded.

• #1170
Will this be available to Isen-ists?
-
• #1171
It will be an Isen product, so deffo. Won't be for a few months though ;(

For your ISP XC road/groad fatbike+ 650c CX bike?
Holy shit. I need to find some mudguards.
