Never used an XX1 cassette, but the X-Glide cassettes are bloody noisy. Not quite a noisy as the old Powerdome ones, as I think the extra machining helps reduce the echo-chamber effect, but much, much noisier than a Shimano cassette.

It'll muffle my whimpers of pain as I drag my bloated, fatty body up a mild incline then. A feature, not a bug.

These are great wheels, very fast- make an awesome firework noise under braking. Sadly they are, at 27.3mm, too wide for a vintage Klein frame as they rub under power (chainstay).

He bought the saddle locally as I would not have time to get one before heading over, I transferred him the AUD for it and the recover.
