• If you want to do a restore talk to these guys - http://ciclicorsaclassico.com/restoration-service/

Dead serious on their resto's. Got quoted like 5k sek for a total resto on the Colnago I once had (Slowies now) but life didn't permit that right then. Might be worth it?

  • Thanks for the link, though a full resto isn't really doable at this point... #funemployment
But maybe some day I'll have the sek saved up for it.

Thinking about saddle choice atm, used a Ritchey wcs stream on the Gazelle but kinda find it uncomfortable on longer rides. On all my other rides (enduro, hardtail and rando) I have the classic Flite so I may go that way for the full flite-experience.

Also kinda tempted to swap out my Italmanubri Eclypse stem, but quill stems in black and preferably hinged are pretty sparse unless some one has a suitable replacement?

  • I'd buy that Eclypse if it went spare. :)

  • Keeping you in mind @Thrust.

Still not much movement on the build, been kinda lying low for a while. Still waiting to hear back with details on the new transfers. Got the new Columbus transfers so they went on.
Have thrown some parts on it though:
saddle and post, rear mech, bb and chainset, brakes and some housing that came with the steering combo (put new hoods on the Record levers as well).
    Some pictures:

  • Nice. Would like to see a full shot.

  • Thanks @Verbs_&_Nouns (ilu tarckbro™), kinda hesitating the full shot until its proper done done.

Could always sneakpeak one for you ;) Weather is shit here today so an indoor shot would have to do..

  • Looks great. Can you share the link to the bottle cages please?

  • Absolutley, got mine from here.

  • @Viggen - thanks!

  • Well since progress on the custom transfers seems really slow I'm probably finishing the build today or tomorrow. To anxious to get it out on the road, it's just standing here in my living room staring at me..

Took it out in the sun the other day and snapped a full ds photo as per some wishes ;)

  • Silver seatpost and stem!!

  • Awesome.

  • Nice. Keep em black, otherwise it just becomes every somec ever.

  • Thanks.

Gonna keep stem and seat post black, it'll also go better with my zipp 404's.

  • Like I said, finishing the build yesterday or today. So here it goes!

And with my "go fast wheels", just under 8kgs at 7,9.

  • Rad!

  • Porn worthy with the zipps!

  • Radicle. Looking swish.

  • This is awesome.

  • Epic, big fan of the black finishing kit, hooray for diversity etc etc

  • The zipps make it pop so much more, thinking black chainrings might look good too!

  • à la @Tijs (though admittedly much less skilled with photoshop)

Fantastic bike, @Viggen! The ZIPPs take it to the next level.

  • This is way nice, I think it looks amazing on the alloy rims.

On paper, the zipps should look badass, but I prefer the other wheels
