Ray Ban sunglasses are online under the Gold Label (must see) header. In case you hadn’t already noticed the search function is deliberately obstinate so consumers have to browse the website rather than cherry pick the big brands.

Apparently the Covent Garden branch had multiple pairs of Garrett Leight sunglasses for less than £50 recently which were all snapped up very quickly.
Website has quite a bit of Jil Sander at the moment but they are charging more than Yoox so it doesn't seem worth it. I miss the days when nobody working in TK Maxx knew what they had and would just shove everything on the rails so you could doggedly go through finding deals. The Gold Label thing really ruined the fun for the most part. -

They've had the gold label thing for years, what you chattin' about, sis/bruv?

They used to not have it tho.

I remember working in Croydon in the late 90s, they had a huge branch there and the shit you could get was unbelievable... OG LVC for pennies, weird Japanese denim for days, I couldn't figure out how it all got there seeing as you couldn't buy it anywhere else in London at the time...

My friend had a business in late 90s and early 00s buying skate brands from TK Maxx and selling through an Ebay shop, made a reasonable living for a young'un in Newcastle

TK Maxx should open in store cafes. They are always selling weird teas. Dress the staff in items for sale.

Oooh. Cast iron or ceramic? Seen ceramic in there, but not the heavy stuff.
-
• #44
Le Creuset products that are not cast-iron may be made in other countries, such as China (accessories or silicone products), Thailand (kettles and ceramics), England (enamel cleaner), Portugal (stainless steel).

Never seen any cast iron in there, but they have 20x23 casserole dishes. Recently bought a pair of ramekins for £5.99 and a rectangular roasting dish for like a tenner

Bugger. Ta. Other stuff seems good value.
-

I've definitely seen cast iron Le Creuset in store. Never online.

Thanks for the tip. Was looking for those on sale last year.

Couldn’t resist a grey calf skin Anderson’s belt today for £16.99 (rrp £93). Still need a black one 🤦♂️

Top tip: check the clearance rail in provincial branches because people return gold label and high priced stuff purchased from other stores or online that gets slashed down.
Picked up a 100% cashmere RL sweater for £34 (rrp £345!?!) and it doesn’t even have the wonky donkey logo, result.

New store just opened on Oxford St, if you can get there early in the morning there’s some really good stuff. Mrs bought me some Folk shirts and something Mulberry for herself today.
