I'd rather he was a Tory as a child than as a grown up. Still think he's weird though.

Mind you, maybe it's a ploy to appeal to the middle ground Tories

Jolly good. The Tories are about to promise once again to cut immigration to the tens of thousands, a promise they know that cannot be kept but which is made just to play to the xenophobic and racist element of traditional UKIP voters.
-

I hope Corbyn goes for the jugular on this- it's a massive broken promise that previously showed May to be totally unreliable. This is a strong clear message that the lfet need to get across.

If Corbyn's grasp of anatomy is anything like Abbott's grasp of policy, then he'll no doubt end up attacking May's toenail - and missing.
But frustration aside, the immigration move is (unsurprisingly) disappointing, as such a target is neither achievable nor (rationally) desirable. As Mr Cleat notes, a shallow racist play.

If the UK votes the Tories back into power again, it's going to be pretty hard to not look like a racist little Britain.
Which is not going to do the negotiations with the EU any good either...

The greens now have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more local seats than Kippers too.
I'm try not not to be of the alufoil hat brigade, but WTF?

We had this discussion a few pages back. In the last general election they got more votes than the Lib Dems and SNP added together, more than 3 times as many votes as the Greens and third most votes in total.
Whether or not they have any seats, they were clearly very relevant in the last GE. Just because people don't like what they stand for it's not a reason to exclude them.

They should be excluded because they're a shower of fascism normalising racist fucks who want pushing off a pier.
