Oh goodness me!

BBC Laura Toryssburg appears to have grown a pair, ripping into Fallon.

Is there somewhere it whitehall where members of the public can hang around amongst all the flappery of aides and hacks ? I think I might grab a sleeping bag and go head down to westminster just on the off chance this does in fact blow up in May's face

I want to be hopeful, having tamped it down for the last 6 weeks, but another few hours of pessimistic dismay won't hurt.

If the exit poll is right(ish), I think I'd see a Tory minority government much more likely than any other outcome.

It would still be a Tory agenda, but there'd be a prospect of much more effective opposition: even with Unionist support, the Tories would be at risk of losing every vote, though the opposition could never guarantee winning it.

A progressive alliance is a lovely pipedream, but on these numbers (and especially without the shinners), it's just that.

There's supposed to be a Jeremy Corbyn-supporting contingent at the Red Lion in Westminster. I think he turned up there himself when they celebrated his election as leader of the party.

Now would be a good time to consider for SF to take their seat if SDLP/SF are called by Labour...
