  • Agreed, but somehow someone has put thick chainrings on there... either way, I don't see how it's possible without grinding or bending - unless older cranks used a spacer and had a larger gap (but I think this is unlikely)

  • yes, no problems, I own 3 different f5 lattice chainrings and they went on nearly every crank I own without issues

  • Just to follow up on this, the bike shop that had fitted the Kappstein chainring onto the Pistard 2.0s confirmed they had to grind some metal off the chainring to allow it to fit.

    Case closed!

  • Bit of a long shot but I don’t suppose anyone has a miche pistard 2.0 left crank arm in 165mm? in silver? Or knows if they are available from miche? Would any other available crank arms have a compatible fitting?
