Repot and check roots ain't rotting. If the toots are ok repot with houseplant compost. Trim off very dead bits. The fungus shouldn't really hurt unless it's mold rather than mush room stuff.

Looking for a new plant to go in our bathroom. Needs to be happy in low light, and the humid side of life. Not pothos.

Can anyone recommend a source of a big ficus benjamina for not crazy money? I'm looking at £50 from Waitrose (incl delivery) for a 1m. And can be pretty confident it'll be good quality.

Sudden infestation of scale insects on Makrut Lime - anyone got any good remedies?

Plant itself is pretty strong and a good 6-7 years old.

this is one of those things I can't believe I'm posting but I was told methylated spirit tickled on with the smallest brush you can find - I tried it - it worked. They went on to say something about watching the babies under the shell (I am hoping you'll get a better suggestion but hey)
