Credit card touring / buyer fail!
Send parcels to various hotels with change of clothes etc and pre book return shipping.
Money gun option - mail order new sets of clothes to each hotel

I'm totally not judging you for adopting the 'faux-ultra' look

A dad-ultra

I tried that at Durness. Didn't work - for some reason they kept the parcel at the Post Office rather than delivering it to the hotel just round the corner. Happily one of the friends I was riding with had a dicky knee, so drove up in the rental can with all our luggage so I didn't have to eat dinner in a Castelli speed suit.

A week in the Alps was great.
This was the most unfit I have been on a trip like this.
Physio issue kept coming up every now n then, had to rest for a day and ibuprofen when riding on some.Still exceptional.
Bike held up fine, no niggles, 42x42 was just enough lowest gear. Switching to GP5000 was a good idea, cinturato although great were 'slow'.
France is boss level western civilisation, there is nothing beyond, UK deserves to be nuked, it adds no value.

I thought I’d send it back to its spiritual home, so paint by ISEN, which meant the very talented Caren came up with what you see.

Yes! Amazing paintjob. Can't wait to see it built up. :-)

OK so there's 181 pages of this crap, what's this thread about anyway? Direct mount brakes or whatever they're called?
-
• #4521
Anything that rescued it from that handlebar set up deserves credit
-
• #4522
It's "about" amey's addiction to buying, with a sub-plot about all the people who've contributed knowingly or otherwise to the project
-
• #4523
Maybe I should put the thread back on ignore
-
• #4524

Ready to let the set back one go?
This is very true ! Still kinda confused tbh, i dont want to 'feel' the weight on one side over other, dont want a bar bag .. do have a Tubus Titanium rack ready.
