You had TT extensions on the Talbot when you first built it up. Did you ride it much with those on? Are they useful for longer rides for comfort?

No plans to do PBP in the near future so no worries there

I stick extensions on for touring and find the extra positions really useful. Even just resting hands on the pads when climbing gives your grip a rest etc.

Slightly late to the party but my Silca pump fits quite nicely above my TT. It gets tucked up there when I'm using my frame bag. Looks like you've got enough of an extended HT/ST to do something similar.

dont buy, its. not great, too thick, hard to wrap, gets cold and very slippery. Everything a bar tape shouldnt be.
