675C wheels. New standard.

for the 'normal' proportioned?

Shimano does not make a 48/32 or 46/30 chainset currently.
TA make the rings though

Not to 32t or 30t, which need smaller than 110BCD.
Good find tho.

Going to stick with shimano as nothing shifts better
-
• #408
What about Praxis? I got a set of the new 48/32 for my new bike and they're very nice. I will be able to comment on the shifting once the build is done.

Except it says ultegra on it

£2k frame. 20p groupset.
WTF is wrong with you?
-
• #413
Reminds me of Ed always telling people to put Alfine cranks on their track bikes
-
• #414
This is DA but says Sora on it .. anyway I am not getting the best bit of the DA groupset.
At £199 (before selling the brakes) I am laughing.

Alfine chainset are 👌
-
• #416
You are just jealous because the crankset looks like 9100

Seat tube has a cut out and is heavily profiled.

Aldine = Alfine? If so I have Alfine cranks on my pomp. They are rad. Come with a chainguard for offroad riding, highly compatible bcd, external bb and are like £60. Fucking topdrawer kit.
Perfect for a track bike, but of course for one not to actually take on the track. One needs a real crankset for that.

+1 on the Alfine cranks here.
Good thread derail people. Carry on.

That makes no difference. Seat stay is measured from centre of hub to centre of BB
-
• #423
Maybe I was answering a different question then - I thought it was how do you get 32c clearance with elite-race length chainstays and BB height / drop. Answer would be to move the shit that the larger rubber hits first out of the way, mainly being the seat tube.
It also has a 73mm wide BB shell and I think there's some asymmetric shiznit going on there. It might not be that straightforward to copy.

Who is Matt Stanbury? He sounds like a right fucking melon.
-
• #425
He is a cycling influencer .. rapha should sponsor him.
You'll get your 98cm wheel base with 32c clearence if you partly copy the geometry from Cannondale alloy synapse with steepening the HT angle to 73.5 degrees.
