Good news on the tyre clearance, i'll be looking to fit wide tyres. Most likely Challenge Strada Bianca 30mm.

Hit a tree traveling at Mach 5, broke the carbon forks. Back to bouncy.

My shoulder and ribs took the worst of it, nothing broken but off the bike for a couple of weeks. I had Syncros full carbon rigid forks on it, they didn’t snap but seem to have lost structural integrity. If I pull the front brake and rock the bike they flex an alarming amount, like a lose headset. I wouldn’t trust them again any way given the hit they took.
It rides great, I have considered selling it to help fund a new scalpel or epic as a new baby has clipped my bike buying wings but I can’t bring myself to do it. Not so keen on the new one because of the lack of sliding dropouts and different seat stays.
Did you get 30mm's to fit the CAAD10?
