Those fresh tubs on the GP4s are so nice. Paint looks amazing in the sun.

Yeah GP4s are great and rims have barely been used. The paint is a lovely cherry red and really shines once waxed.
Total build feels really light and it comes in just over 8kg -

LBS sorted out the rear derailleur and I can finally ride it.
It's beautiful to ride and feels balanced and very smooth. Still need to muck about with the saddle to get it just right.

I also contacted De Rosa directly to see what they could tell me about the help and assistance given to Merckx by Ugo when Merckx was starting in the business . I sent a number of photos of the frame to see whether they could confirm if Ugo built it.
The son of Ugo replied very quickly and Cristiano is the head of the commercial side of the business.
It doesn't matter that its not a De Rosa to me, but unfortunately they didn't answer my query around the assistance provided to Merckx.
