In the past Sky would have done what BMC did today and drilled it at the front all day. Relieving they seemed to have learnt to stay all back of the bus and conserve energies. Clearly this is a stage that BMC have targeted specifically as one Porte can take time on, but as @andyp says unlikely to be a decisive amount of time. Strange move.

I always feel that Porte struggles with team captaincy/leadership combo, there's often a lack of cohesiveness and good decisions in BMC when they have the strength in the team and should have the belief in his abilities.

Sounds like its getting tasty at the front of the peloton now.

Impressive ride from Aru - glad to see a slightly unexpected result

BMC did an excellent job of getting Froome to the bottom of the climb in good nick and getting him into yellow.
