Sky chased down Cummings to win the stage for Froome, and then lost the yellow jersey. If you're not a sky fan, today was a pretty good day.

Based on the prologue performances, at least 45 seconds is needed for Aru to win the GC. Not sure where he's going to find that other 39 seconds.

But mainly, it was hugely disrespectful of Bardet to attack while Froome was struggling up the hill.

The other GC contenders are supposed to put their arms around the yellow jersey and waft them over the line if they're not up to it.

Honestly think Froome struggled on those high gradients at the end, but wouldn't be expected to on a steadier climb/finish. He's not crumbled, not by a long shot.

He still said it, and then backed off by saying: "But they're smarter than me."
