One thing is being physical, but Bouhanni is just a frustrated violent Cunt®, hopefully the peloton will troll him until he will finally decide to say goodbye to pro-cycling forever.
PS: Guarnieri in his last interview kept very quiet, the words he used were very soft compared to what a character like Bouhanni can inspire you to say.

Makes me even happier to have seen Bouhanni seemingly going backwards in the sprint today. Really enjoy seeing him lose.

This.
QS rider gave him a shove, saying get out my way I'm here. Bouhanni then gave him a slap.
Really I see nothing wrong, with a bit of jostling. Both are as bad as each other. And FAR worse will happen on a daily basis. And the fucking twitterati can be quiet, it's very different to sagangate.

That said, he is an arse and needs to go to anger management counseling. But the punishment was fair in this case. I doubt the QS rider even complained, it's nothing.

Quick-Step shoves him, Bouhanni punches him in the face....

I think it's probably the case that a few riders know he's got a short temper and don't really like him, so they pick on him to try to get a reaction. Like bullying basically.
Going back a few pages, I too wonder if it does have something to do with racism as well. Berhane and Reza have both been racially abused in the pro peloton and they seem like quite unassuming people, you have to wonder whether with someone like Bouhanni, who is not only 'other' but quite prickly too, whether that is a factor in how he is treated in the peloton and online.

Insert rider x thinks x is a cunt here.
Riders say Demarre is a cunt too. Bouhanni's got form for publicly being a nasty, violent prick and gets shit the same way people gave Cav shit when he was being obnoxious back in his younger middle finger days. Perhaps an element of that is from his upbringing and people being racist to him, perhaps he's just a total walloper and gets in people's faces. Not really something to predict although if he just came out and said "the peloton is full of racist fucks and it pisses me off" I'd certainly have more sympathy for him.

Bouhanni punched his shoulder, not face upon closer inspection

Yates interview after stage 9 was the best moment of this tour yet; the riders deserve a bit of champagne early.

I couldn't see if he punched him in the face from the video?
Jus that he swatted back. -

"Man, it got really real there"
I love this character - the Dude of the peloton. A short interview on Dutch website, in English:
and a piece on rouleur.cc

^The GCN interview with him on "how to time trial" is surreal; sounded like he'd been at the Tramadol this time around.

Daniel Friebe was talking about interviewing Phinney for the first time at this Tour in the Cycling Podcast last night. Said it was a mind blowing experience.

Any chance of a few puncheurs having a dig off the front today over the last few lumps?

I'm hoping the teams try and light it up a bit more rather than just cruising till the end with kittel blowing them all away.
How many teams now have basically nothing but stage hunting to do particularly given the dominance of one man in the sprints? Particularly BMC, Bora, Dimension Data and others who have had their plans ripped apart by DNFs/DSQs. All out battle from the flag drop with loads of engines in the break please. -

"I already have too many voices in my head already...."
Amazing. Reminds me a lot of a friend of mine at uni who was an almost obsessive juggler. He was very zen about it.
I'm going to defend him, the QuickStep rider gave him a whack first. Why didn't he get fined and relegated too?
