All part of the fun, surely?
And once you've been there - you're not going to forget.

Haha, fair enough! How does it ride?
I'm looking forward to seeing the Roberts! was the seat tube replacement a PITA? -

The Carrera, with the Mavic's rides really well. Feels like it wants to go much faster than my old legs can take it.
Geoff Roberts did the seat tube replacement for me, while I was down at Enigma building my frame in January.

Mrs Jangle had the dubious pleasure of driving close to Crayford in Kent today, which afforded me the opportunity to suggest to her she might swing by Colour-tech, and pick something up for me:
As an aside, Geoff reckons that you can identify the builder of a Roberts by the way they construct the vent hole in the seat tube / top tube junction.
According to him, Chas Roberts built this frame, and apparently that makes it a pretty rare item!

Finally built this up.
Campagnolo triple groupset, sourced from on here.
It's probably a touch too big for me, but great for shits and giggles.

Lovely. Chorus carbon seatpost? Where'd you'd find that?
-

In my parts bin.
Didn't realise this was a fairly rare part until someone commented recently.
I guess it must have originally come from the 'bay.

I see Amazon have one.
For £249.99
Speechless. -

If I bought it for my parts bin (which I must have), I would have paid about £35.00 for it. Result.
You've got to find it first too, which is a challenge in itself.
