Last night was the debut in London's famous London winter league for the young kickstarter from Cambridge French max ...and what a cold debut it was. The scene was set, the leaves were moist and newington was as bobbly as ever.

Donkey punch are the young fresh faced team playing against Londons homegrown heroes witchclerkish. WC looked keen for the game and ready to slay against the ex world chump and his team.

WC took an early lead with Felix scoring a simple yet powerful goal. It was straight after this goal that Max decided he wanted his revenge and slotted away 3 goals on the trot, his speed and accuracy was something to behold and fear...a good start to Max's league. It was with the commanding 3-1 lead that DP started slotting away the goals one after the other until the half time whistle was blow. The first half ended 7-1 to DP.

The second half started much like the first, DP knocking them away one after the other. It was only with 6 minutes to go that WC started to have a bit of a comeback and put away a few, but it was too little to late. Some simple play and some easy breakaways secured DP the game. A classic winter game with both teams enduring the cold and wet.
