  • nah, im still playing around with how id like it and waiting for the parts to come up. Ive still only seen 3 lo pro models in total by bio racer so far including yours as an orange/red coloured one sold a few weeks back on ebay but was too small. I did contact the guy that sold you yours as his prices on things are pretty fair..i quite like the C4 frames he has.

  • He has some decent stuff. Nice guy as well. I've tried doing a little google search for info but yeah, doesn't seem to be too many of them about. Fingers crossed, it should be with me the end of next week.

    ... Wondering if it's allowed to ride TT's on a 650 front?

Wanting to go for a Mavic Comete rear, and if I can find one, a 3g 650 front... But may take a while to find them for a reasonable price, and when I'm flush with cash.

  • This arrived today.

Shitty phone pictures as normal. I manged to move most the groupset across. Need an Italian thread bottom bracket, headset and 650c front wheel to get it rolling.

  • That's steel with a tiny amount of aluminium in it. It's a really high quality tubing which is just a little bit thicker and heavier than Columbus Spirit.

It's still being made, but under a different name; DEDACCIAI COM 12.5

  • Cheers for the info. The tubing is labelled SYTU 878 Oval which doing a quick google, only brings up other Bio Racer frames.

It is slightly odd in that there is a lug around the bottom bracket, but all the other welds look like tig. Feels like Ally, but you can't weld ally to steel, right?

Want to get this on the road soon as.

  • I don't know what Ally is?

But it's a completely steel frame, its Dedacciai steel tubing. And yes it's tig welded.

  • First glace some of the tubes felt like aluminium, but they obviously aren't.

  • Trispoke courtesy of Si46

  • Chopped my first threaded steerer last night. Surprised how good a home made jig of old headset cups worked. Cabled up and waiting for the seatpin to arrive.

Now to find a rear disk... There is a matching 700c trispoke about, but thinking disk is the way to go.

  • I have a mavic challenger for sale whats your email adress?

  • Latest project for a mate of mine.

Pretty odd bike but looks and feels real fun. Anyone seen one of these before?

  • yes its an Aegis- they made frames for peugeot, basso and a few others, maybe even the c4 bikes but im not 100% on that.
