you can but the garmin mount needs to be turned 90 degrees and filed slightly (I used a scalpel to cut away a bit of plastic)

LEDs are indeed great. I havent tried with live strava segments yet - thinking it might stress me out

Never had a bike computer/GPS, most days struggle to unlock my phone. Picked up a bolt on the weekend, pressed sync>skip>skip>skip>ignore>route>Brighton and a few hours later i was having a beer on the beach without a single on route punishment pass from West Norwood - i like it.

What do LED's do?
-
• #156
Light up and flash.

Basically the top horizontal one, when it's time to turn, it light up from left to right repeately if there's a right turn soon (for example), it's noticeably easier for the like of me to see a turn.
The vertical one, useful to do Strava segment on, during a starred segment, blue in middle is "on track", orange above mean you're ahead, and green below is you're behind.

I use the LEDs up the side for heart rate. Those 4 orange or 5 red are horrible to see as I sweat and toil up hills.

Cool.
So a bit pointless?!

• #161
Do not want.

SRS though, I've found using them to keep at a constant speed very useful. So not just a gimic.

@coldharbour that fragment issue was happening to me on the original ELMNT too - it can be worked around by just plugging the thing and lifting the .fit file off.
Still annoying though!

• #164
you can programme them to do whatever you want. i thought they would be a bit gimmicky but really like them. great for navigation. i just have the left LEDs for speed relative to average

I have set up my ELEMNT
Fingers crossed it will get me home safely.

• #169
Great success.

• #170
Took a long time though.

• #171
Was really wet.

• #172
So. The LED's for speed when just riding along are pointless?
I guess they're only OK if you're doing a training partner style workout (which I don't).
Also calories don't work if no HR strap?!

Non HR calculated calories are just a number to justify beer no?

Powermeter?

Screen look better, but normal ELEMNT battery is great, and more screen estate is great as well as the LED (very useful for turn by turn, funwirh Strava segments).
