  • Hi @Velocio, can I have the email associated with this account switched to my @mr_lunch account. ie, I want to use that account, not this one, and I no longer have that old email address although I'm still logged in on my phone. I hope that makes sense?

  • Been AFK for a few months - User name was cfixed

  • My workplace block webmail and I think this has now spilled over into blocking the sign in process for my main account, @M_V, as I used a hotmail email to create that account.

    For some reason I can still sign in through the google sign in process though this may be eventually get blocked too I guess.

    Is there a way I can link the 2 sign ins to the @M_V account? Maybe I should just change the email on that account to the gmail one? Although, if my gmail account currently links to this account, would I need to remove the email address from this account (change it to yet another email account?) before attaching it to my main account?

    My current email provider will shut down soon. Is it an admin thing to change an address ? i can't seem to find anyway to alter it.

  • You can do it yourself. Click on your profile and then on 'edit profile'.

  • edit profile only allows me to edit username and avatar.

    i can change notification orders.

    If i click my actual username then my email is highlighted in blue in the grey box on the right of the screen.
    If i click on my email it seems to take me to gmail and prompts me to make an account.

    i can't see any function to just edit/change my email address ?
    Above my name is "About"
    And below my name/email is "Actions"
    Both are inactive and do nothing other than state about/action.

    Am i missing something ?

  • That's funny, I thought it allowed you to edit your e-mail address, too. Perhaps that's been changed?

  • Email is your identity to login... you can't change it because if you login with a new one you get a new account, and most people who want to change their email have already lost access to the old email and so couldn't login to that beforehand.

  • This has now been changed around for me by Velocio. (Thank you)

    if anyone else is using the tesco.net email service......... this is to be switched off in a weeks time and will no longer be in service.
    New email swapped round with old email by admin, not user doable.

  • Ah, cheers, I just thought that when logged in it would be possible to change it, but I'm sure that would throw up difficult problems I don't even understand. :)
