Cheers!
The Moda is nicer up close - the paint finish is a really subtle kinda metallic pearl black which looks much better in the flesh - has 25c GP Classics on the just now, might get away with 28s but probably not any bigger, doesn't have eyelets on the frame - I reckon they stuck a random fork from elsewhere in the range on these - the alloy steerer & mudguard eyelets (when the frame doesn't have any) on a high end steel frame don't quite match up - they had the same fork on the Intimo 953 version too... (fun fact - if you search google images for Moda Intimo, you'll see a load of Italian models in their scants...)
That old Charge was my first foray into the dark world of singlespeed bikes but a wise man told me to pick the lowest gear you can get away with, not the highest & it got me though 1500 miles of winter commuting before I decided to semi-retire it and hang a 2 year old off the back of it.
The Ridley frame almost ended up as a lightweight ss after the weird enjoyment of the ss Charge - both sides of the dropouts bolt on/off & are fairly simple in design, was tempted to have a horizontal set machined & stick some spare road wheels on it, but it's gone to a bloke with a spare Super Record groupset & Tune / deep carbon wheels so that's maybe for the best, was a nice frame...

Started the year with one road bike, one MTB and two fixies. Road bike and MTB now sold as neither were getting used as much as they should and it was causing me anxiety. I now have one all weather/lock-up fixie and a choice of two track frames and finishing kit to build a something a bit nicer that will probably not get used much. Steamroller has kind of ruined all other bikes for me.
So that's two bikes but my minimalist tendencies are telling me that's one two many.

Going this way for me too. Never have time to ride on the weekends (or inclination now my daily commute is a 30 mile round trip), so considering if I even need 3 bikes. Considering getting rid of my boring nice geared dadbike and just keeping my big tyred Pompino which is the perfect bike for me, and getting my fixed back into action for longer/fun rides and occasional commuting to mix it up.
N-1 all the way IMO.

Reading this thread makes me feel better about my current situation...
Since last posting in here 3 yrs ago the numbers have gone from 12 bikes and 6 framesets to 15 bikes and 4 framesets
2 x modern road bike (one at home, one at the in-laws)
2 x gravel bike (one at home, one at the parents)
3 x retro-modern road bike (two at home, one at the in-laws)
3 x vintage road bike (two at home, one at the in-laws)
1 x modern audax bike
1 x touring bike
2 x mountain bike (one squishy, one a daily beater)
1 x fixie
3 x vintage road frames
1 x vintage track frame
Not such an 'improvement' as the target definitely over the last two years has been to cut down to maybe 10 built up and no real projects. Definitely a problem.
