Do a tattoo maybes.

Lycra is pretty resilient to tearing so it might be alright to leave it be. That doesn't stop you getting cold though and my material knowledge is approaching zero so I will defer to less funny but sewing machine-equipped users...

Do the lfgss experts think my bodged rear rack mount is likely to break?

I can’t see nothing so I’d say probably not.

Rapha fixed my winter bibs when they ripped. They did it with a patch of the same material and some nifty looking chain stitching.

I can do a pic for you when they are out of the wash.

In other news, the rubber furniture feet on my, er, feet worked a charm today when walking at either end of a ride.

My mudguard was held on with a cable tie after the top mount broke. It also had some dremel cut bolts that @scherrit made for me after the alu slotted washers for the dropouts broke. UK weather dissolves aluminium.
