  • sorry but checked back here to see it built and sold within days and did lol.

You definitely have Campag issues sonny jim!

  • What size was the frame?

  • you are riDickulous mate!!

  • do you ever keep details of how much you spend and how much you recoup from sales?

  • No, and with an accountancy qualification I'm breaking every fiscal rule I've ever learnt.

I don't really ever make anything from bike sales, and the reason I'd rather not keep tabs is for that exact reason.

Ultimately I throughly enjoy the experience of sourcing and building something that looks beautiful and performs excellently over and above any want for profit or gain.

I must have had 20+ bikes over the last 5 years - doesn't take long to work out the volumes of cash I've probably thrown away, but everyone has their hobbies / passions.....

    This is mine

  • No judgement here, just curious really.

I'm the same way with playing poker with pals. Financially it makes little sense, but I enjoy the social aspect to it, even if I rarely win.

If you enjoy it and you're not hurting anyone then why not?

Plus you're putting great bikes out for people to ride (and for forumengers to ogle). Doing god's work.

  • I'll be saving up for the next bike you sell :)
