On Pence blaming 9/11 on Iran and other twitter fabrications:
It reminds me of Iraqi Yellow Cake, Colin Powell’s vial and ‘Babies from incubators’ but with less heart (I guess The White House doesn’t have time/organisation or full cooperation of the corporate media or intelligence agencies this time).

Loving the faces of the generals behind Trump when he mentioned the hypersonic missiles that are probably top secret in the presser today.

presidential salary -- I give it up, usually to drugs." -

Trump, is clearly losing his shit at an accelerating pace. He has been moaning at a rally about he should have won the Nobel Peace Prize. I think I'm going to start stocking up on bottled water, tinned food and toilet paper. Oh and looking at building a fallout shelter in my back garden.

Trump's just a sockpuppet president with Mike Pompeo's hand up his arse. It's all those fucking neocons and Christian fundamentalist nutjobs in his administration we have to consider.

NSFW and pretty grim.
The public group, “People vs Gov. Gretchen Whitmer,” was rapidly
growing, attracting nearly 9,000 conservatives of all kinds – elected
officials, veterans, firefighters, law enforcement officers,
educators, pastors, business owners, political candidates, militia
members, blue-collar workers, and your garden variety trolls. -

He is obsessed with Obama - diminishing his achievements or trying to match/exceed them - Obamacare, the Iran deal, now the Nobel Peace Prize. Sad!

Frank Luntz, the Republican pollster, told Gabe Sherman that he had recently asked Trump what his middle initial "J" stands for.
"Genius," Trump responded.

There was an analysis in German that with all the huffing and puffing Iran can't do very much and the USA won this round.
Their opinion was that the EU should be careful as it barely has any Iran trade and the USA can easily put tariffs on EU goods. And that the non nuclear deal is dead.
I suppose they may be right, doesn't make this situation any less ethically problematic and mainland EU and others always end up with the refugees. And putting in all the diplomatic effort with Trump just pissing all over it, cha...

Who knows what will happen in the future? The two significant figures the U.S. assassinated inside another country's sovereign borders will almost certainly result in heavy blowback.
Which is probably what the U.S. wants. Endless chaos, endless war, provoke endless blowback to feed the war machine.

I think it has made the area unsafe for ordinary people, and has not helped democracy either.
Don't see it going into ww3, hope it won't go into armed conflict.
It may have helped Israel but at what cost? Even if the aim is not endless conflict (always money for wars kit eh? not so much for veteran healthcare or pensions though!) in that sense you may be right this helps feed the war machine.
And that guy helped the USA against IS this is the umpteenth time they betray people they allied with in the past. Europe is stuck in the middle as always, hopefully this will lead to Europe complete cutting military ties. With the USA as friend who needs enemies...

Always appreciate Larry Wilkerson's take on U.S foreign policy:

They share the same Hebrew root name. Fun fact, Sally is actually the full name but can be shortened to Vag, a bit like Richard being shortened to Dick.
Iran have elections in February.
I guess Trump has abandoned ‘domestic overthrow’ as a tactic because unilateral assassinations of popular state figures are only going to galvanise support no?
The Iraq government (which has largely resisted Iranian influence) is now expected to manage their increased occupation. 2018 Iraqi election results suggested patience with US presence had been exhausted already.
