We now have reports of Putin and MBS phone calls on the TS server and details of the Trump/Lavrov White House conversation in 2017 leaking in the space of three hours.
Things will go fast now.

Trump isn't healthy enough to cope with a trial - Mitch saying he was ok with said trial is him throwing Trump firmly under the bus.

It's very normal to appoint a well connected lawyer, consultant and lobbyist to your oil and gas board even if they have no oil and gas experience. Similarly, $50k per month is not an unusual pay package.
Leveraging your name may be legal and quite normal for family of senior public servants, even socially acceptable, but it stinks. The implication is (at least) close access and insider policy information.
Yanukovych is a huge crook and Hunter’s boss.

Totally agree. It stinks. But it isn't evidence of a conspiracy.
However, the claim that Clinton was even partially behind the Manafort investigation is weapons grade Infowars bullshit.

do some digging
Thanks. I did and have edited. The source wasn’t Solomon (directly at least) but it’s not good enough.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are a lot of shenanigans that we don't know about.

And as somebody implied upthread, find me an honest Ukrainian energy company and I'll find you a unicorn with three cocks.

Biden’s sons have been a political liability for years according to this Politico article from earlier this summer. They first reported on this problem in 2015 IIRC.
No equivalence with Trump’s cover-up but damaging.

Surely Trump is a solid gold example of kids (and kids in law) who are liabilities? Hasn't hurt him much. That said, his kids are mostly liabilities because they're doing nothing particularly well, not being dodgy as such.

Hasn't hurt him much.
I don’t agree. It’s tough to measure but from what I’ve seen from Fox (mostly trad Republicans) to full-blown maga frogboy numbskulls - none are wild about his kids.
Everyone else seems to have a negative view of them and their ‘work’.

If it means that Warren gets to run for president than yes I guess.
Not Bernie?
There is a good vid from the perspective of a Bernie fanboy on the daylight between Warren and Sanders.
I’ll see if I can find it.Link below. -

The New York times reports Biden is cutting back on online advertising - presumably because it is not bringing in any campaign donations just now.
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/30/us/politics/joe-biden-ads.html
It may just be temporary but it is worrying. As in 2015/16 Trump will try to pick off and destroy his opponents one by one. The longer Biden lasts the better it is for the rest. For a long read look at the whistleblower's complaint and the IGIC evaluation of its credibility

It is hard to see Giuliani avoiding prosecution even if Trump survives (again). -

The longer Biden lasts the better it is for the rest.
Please explain (unless it's the fallacious theory that he deflects criticism from the other candidates).

Trump last night retweeted a bot account that retweets Trump tweets and adds shark references into them. I've confused myself even just typing that.

Looks like there is another whistleblower on the way. This time from the tax office citing efforts to influence the audit of Trump's taxes. Colour me surprised.

I think funding is the least of Biden’s worries.
They’ll have pulled campaign media because it’s dated strategy now.
-
• #8271
Just now the Trump attack dogs and smear machine are focussed on Biden and family. If Biden pulls out they will move onto the next front runner, Warren or Sanders, and so on. If Biden can stay for a while he might expose Trump/Guiliani dirty tricks and give some cover for the others.

Source?

Rudy G subpeoneaed and three of his associates scheduled for depositions re. Ukraine
Australian PM was asked by Trump to help discredit Mueller inquiry by investigating Australian intelligence services and the call was put on the server too
-
• #8275
Oh, Pompeo was also on the Ukraine call
Also, I respectfully ask you to go and do some digging and fact check this. I think you'll find that the sources are not only unreliable but also have a track record of feeding false theories into the right wing media.
There are several variations to the claim you just posted. Some say Clinton asked Ukraine to investigate trump. Some say George Soros asked Ukraine to investigate Manafort. All of these theories are demonstrably wrong and by coincidence, some of them originated from the Hill journalist who I posted about on the previous page.
