Are they trying to create the idea that unborn babies are "full term" at (say) 3 months?

they're trying to make it sound like pro-choice people are just randomly killing newborns

Pro life? More like anti choice.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

National Enquirer was founded with a loan from the Mafia and Trump's lawyer Roy Cohn (mob lawyer) was childhood friends with the owner.

Trump is preparing to declare a national emergency over wall funding. Time to have a very close look at the National Emergencies Act to see how much he can get away with. He could potentially be doing a whole lot more than funding the wall.

At a time when 70,000 Americans are dying from air pollution related illnesses every year, and 63 million Americans do not have access to safe drinking water out of their taps, the wall is the national emergency.
When border crossings are at a 20 year low, violent crime is down and immigrants consistently commit less crime than Americans.
Fuck the fuck off.

He should build that wall around his fridge. Boom!

Sounds like he's looking to go out with a bang. It's like Obamas fuckit-list but twisted

The more pertinent question may be how is the GOP planning on using this to protect / consolidate their position once Trump has gone tits up in the wind.

Heard something along these lines recently,
(Pod Save America, maybe),
'Trump is definitely a 2-term President;
1st term: White House
2nd term: Rikers'. -

go out with a bang
Approval rating @ 41.5 and no sign of Mueller a second term is looking pretty likely.
I think I’d vote for Andrew Yang.

Bets on Trump getting a second term are starting to come up around my office.
Still not sure I can put money down without seeing how the dem nominations go, but right now my money is on Trump - economy up, employment up, markets up, regs cut, peace in N. Korea, sticking it to the Chinese.... I think he'll end up with a lot more widespread support than people think and there will be a lot of "I don't like the guy, but..."

There's a good chance the Dems nominate a woman with a Sanders type medicare-for-all platform and they get to find out just how much Americans hate those things (women and welfare).

I think America is around 25 years away from electing a female president, and that only if they don't follow their current trajectory to become Gilead.
-
• #7446
And it looks as if they're much more ready to elect a Palin than a Clinton or Cortez

There was a fairly comprehensive study done by either NYU or Columbia University after the 2016 election that sought to demonstrate gender bias in the electorate. The thesis was that men (especially conservative men) won't vote for women. The surprise outcome was that a female candidate with Trump's platform was the most popular, with a slight uptick amongst conservative men. Palin 2024!

"The only national emergency is that our president is an idiot" from Ann Coulter, of all people. Although her real objection seems to be the compromise deal he signed before declaring the emergency.
Frightening. Also needs his hair to match's that around his temples.
