To be honest I’ve just given up on ever thinking that this weapons-grade lunatic will be nailed up at some point. Due to a unique mix of the American system and a terminally stupid electorate, he’s probably going to get a second term.
Anyway, who cares? We’ve got May and Brexit to keep us occupied for the next fuck knows how many years.

How long before Trump switches, following his son, and becomes an apologist for the Saudi murder?
You called it - he's now blaming 'rogue killers'. Saudi off the hook.

I have recently read Conrad Black's book Donald J Trump: A President Like No Other. One of Black's loving fantasies is that the people of Scotland love Trump for the wonderful new golfing centres he has brought them. Also because Trump had a Scots mother. Black doesn't mention Trump's attempts to have the First Minister removed from office.
I think Black admires Trump for succeeding in the type of business deals that got Black sent to jail and banned from running a business in USA or Canada. One of those deals involved proceeds of the sale of what is now Trump Tower Chicago by Black's company. -

There is very little love for that man here, some people do profess their admiration but they are few and far between.

Not that I have much time for golf but during my time in Scotland I was often told that golf was a people's game up there. St Andrew's is a municipal course, as are a few or the other important courses I believe. One thing Scotland has never been short on is golf courses.

I'm a golfist and have had experiences to back that up.
Lots of the courses I play on in Scotland have honesty boxes on the first tee for fees, cost £5 to £10 per round. You definitely get a feeling that the plentiful municipal courses have zero time for bullshit or elitism.
The part where Lesley says, "who says that?" should become an anti trump slogan.
