That's not a lawn - it's a meadow. Looks like it hasn't been mown for weeks.

Full disclaimer - I haven't touched my lawn for a couple of years as I get the kids to do it too, but I make sure they do it regularly!

When I was young our place had a pretty big lawn (rural Canada eh) and we had a sit-down lawnmower. My dad tried to convince me that it would be good driving practice so I should do the mowing. Little did he know that even from my teen years I've hated driving so ha! Never mowed the lawn a single time.
