Another shitty thing Trump has done. It's not like you can't find water at these National Parks. Refill stations are readily available and they sell reusable water bottles if you really can't be arsed to bring your own bottle with you.

How "modern America" is one eccentric contrarian being used as a fig leaf by white supremacists? That one was taken at the Flowerton festival in Summerville, SC, back in April.

Is this guy like that Sikh guy the BNP used to always give pride of place at their rallies as window dressing because he hated Muslims?

Clapper did not mention Richard Nixon, who was involved in a tense stand-off with North Korea in 1969, after the regime shot down a US spy plane. Nixon is reported to have gotten drunk and ordered a tactical nuclear strike, which was only averted by his national security adviser, Henry Kissinger.

An interesting (and long) thread on 'professional' alt-right Russian trolls.

It also contains a link within to this other thread about left-wing Russian trolls.

Trump's most bizarre and irrational statements get a lot of attention but many of the dismal and disastrous changes he is making go almost unreported.

And pretty bad for the constitution as a whole, in that it gives the executive arm precedence over the judicial.
It's ironic that so much of Trump's support base is so vocal on being supportive of the constitution, but so blind as to when the constitution is being entirely subverted.
And all this undercover of the hurricane. It's as if the administration is trying to keep it out of the news, as it legitimises racial profiling and overt discrimination...
A little late on this thread but yeah I'm not keen on Trump.
