That was really something. I don’t know what, but definitely something.

Trump can cash in his shares in Truth Media later this month. Remember, the ones that were going to make him a billionaire many times over? Only they're now fallen in value back to their pre-bubble levels. And they still have no users or advertisers.

All according to plan.
Still in the dark as to why the Dems don't just appoint a couple more partisans of their own

Most drug addicts are, in my experience.

Not sure that's particularly valid; it depends on the drug they're addicted to, and perhaps to a lesser extent, the person themselves.
My old next-door neighbour was on the smack, and he was salt of the earth; as trustworthy as people come. Terrible shame I couldn't trust him not to die of an OD, though 🥺
Folks I'd trust less than drug addicts: rich people. A lot of them seem to think paying people is optional.

It's OK, he'll trade me some sweet top tube protectors.

I've seen so many lives destroyed by drugs, not that it stopped me partaking in my time. It's valid in my experience, never trust a junkie but you do you!
Unless they're a rich junkie, mummy and daddy will always pay you back in that scenario.

NJS!

True dat.

never trust a junkie
It's a damn fine rule of thumb; just about as good as they come. Just pointing out that even that one has exceptions.
-

Don't wanna derail this thread any further, but... Of course there are exceptions, a fair few of my closest mates have come out of the other side of heroin addiction/alcoholism/etc and are doing great, some others weren't so lucky.
When a junkie is in full flow, drugs are all they care about, you or anyone else doesn't matter anymore.

Yeah, this is exactly what I meant. I've had very good friends get addicted and it's difficult to watch them change from someone you liked to someone who is only interested in getting their next fix. The collateral damage to everyone close to them is tragic.
Thankfully most get through it.
Not really.
