I guess using a SPAC gets around the need to find a bank willing to go on public record as running the placement, and might also avoid any public scrutiny of audited accounts until after he's cashed out.

Interestingly the SPAC, Digital World, is being pumped as a meme stock on Truth Social, which has pushed up it's value, right before it merges with Truth Social.
