Spent two hours last night getting the old bb out of this thing only to find the bike kitchen didnt have a isis bb tool. then pinched the tube after wrestling the stupid rear tire onto the rear wheel. MA 40 + Shitty BLB tire was a baaaaaaddddd choice. Will be taking it to my local Track bike friendly LBS to be sorted.

Forks look odd stem is a no from me.

Stem looks awful on this IMO too. Its just trying too hard. Put a Thomson on it, they're american if you must.
-
• #167
I hate those stems full stop, on any build.
No idea why they're sort of fashionable at the moment.
Thomson all the way for this. -

Sticking with carbon fork and salsa for now.

is the reverse xentis for extra slavebike points :)

no just wasn't paying attention, also no headset in stalled in those pics
-
• #171
LOL everything on this bike is CHEAP!!! Front tire costs more than the whole cockpit did. Not buying no Thompson
-
• #172
Edit: I'm being harsh. A road stem would look better in my opinion.
-
• #173
Its funny cause you are getting all bent out of shape over your imagination. Salsa ahead outer tube diamater is within a mm of the cannondale road stem that came on the frame. The aheads use larger tubing then the salsa quills (have one of each) only thing smaller is the clamps cause 1 piece and steel.
