Big heavy bastard that is to lift out, Im sure he'll do a good job looks like he takes pride in his work and wants to play the instagram game which is fair enough.
I bought a bag (not knowing) its some other insta famous plumbers and while its a not bad bag its heavy as fuck with no tools in and people froth at then mouth over his stuff.

PB Plumber?

Aye that guy, although recently ive been getting suggested videos of his on my youtube explore page. His works decent too, but a lot of this stuff seems like they want to be famous to a certain degree on a job that really isn't that interesting.

Is there a forum recommended floor sander/finisher who'll come to E17?
I've got a floor of our house that needs doing (one big room, two medium sized rooms). Fireplaces have been removed previously so I need someone who can fill in these gaps with some reclaimed boards and make it all look nice.
The guy used by @6pt and @ObiWomKenobi seems to be recommended and reasonably priced - reckon he'd come this far north east?

Possibly but it seems a bit mean. I felt bad after he told me he’d gone all the way to Apollo’s tbh. Can’t find anyone more local?

Can’t find anyone more local?
Hopefully... Need to find someone sooner rather than later though and someone decent!
I always think with trades if you call up and tell them where you are and what you want doing it's up to them - not going to put any pressure on anyone.

Can anyone recommend a builder for a full house renovation including new roof, new openings for windows/doors and major internal reconfiguration and redecoration works?
Got some quotes through but most have been more than we were expecting/willing to pay. House is in East Dulwich.

Any recommendations for guttering replacement/repairs in SE London?
-
• #112
Can also vouch for Pete (pjh). Intending to have him around to do alcove shelves at mine soon, based on a recommendation by a mate who's had him in to do them in both his (consecutively owned) houses. Top work.

Is there any recomendation for window/door suppliers and fitters around south east, specifically New Cross? Just your standard UPVC windows and composite doors we'd be looking for.

Any Ealing / West London plumber suggestions?
-
• #115
Can recommend a (north London) guy who did our Ealing GCH and some mains water as part of a bigger refurb, Cyril du Plessis, decent bloke, PM me for details.
Would describe price and quality as midrange. I.e. totally acceptable for what we needed.
Also had an aerial installer and roofer I’d recommend.

Roofer Phil retiled our (semi detached) pitched roof, replaced lead where lead needed to be replaced and sorted the guttering, and the bit the guttering attaches to. Also re-felted two flat roofs (and associated guttering). 13k. Looks good from the outside and no sign of wet inside following recent rain.
Aerial Ali did his antenna installation while the scaffolding was up, three point distribution, neat cabling, all sockets receiving high quality digital TV. £400

Any suggestions for surveyors (is that within topic? Hope so).
Have one from house buying thread but not sure they can make it this far so looking for alternatives as well.

Could anyone recommend a roofer? This storm has just led to a leak that needs fixing urgently.

Anyone got a decorator in SE1?
-
• #123
You could try Busy Brush (based SE23), I haven't used them domestically but we use them loads at work and they are good.

• #124
We've used Neil Fox with excellent results.
Catford based and also mentioned previously in the thread.
