The Fiji rugby team is my all time favourite sports team. They are the most humble, respectful, Group of sportmen you'll ever meet. I've played With the ex pat Fijians in Norway on several occasions. Like the national side. They arent the quickest or the biggest. But seem to play With an awareness of the Whole Pitch, and its 14 players, which is a step above the rest.
Really happy for them. Even if they did make my facebook page unveiwable for an evening.

Daily fail I'm afraid. But sums up the Fijian team for me.

Ah, the Mail - foreigners are OK as long as they're serving drinks?
-

Bula Bula Fiji... they smashed it.

Ah, the Mail - foreigners are OK as long as they're serving drinks?
Were they at least serving Fiji drinks?

Watching the heptathlon high jump. High jump is absolutely ridiculous when you think about it. People are getting their bodies over something taller than a person standing.
Katarina Johnson-Thompson is doing brilliantly as well, she doesn't look like she can believe it. Nice of Ennis-Hill to fuck off out of the stadium rather than staying to watch.

Ennis Hill has her own shit to do no?

Dressage was on as I walked past the tv. Germany had a woman with an eye patch in a very military looking outfit...............

Pretty good at this cycling lark then

The commentator just said the backward-facing, saddle-mounted, camera on the track bikes gives "a rider's eye view". I suppose that riding with your head up your arse might also be more aerodynamic.

Probably a little too difficult to explain for Commentatorballs, shame. Good one, though.

She's British.
It seems she has double vision after falling off her horse two years ago. -

And possibly a pirate.
-
• #193
A mounted pirate?
They are fairly rare I believe.

Not round these parts, ha-harrrr!
-
• #195
Have you never heard of seahorses?
-
• #196
Horses

A mounted pirate?

Wait, what?! All I heard was talk about Germany, the German flags. My mistake, sorry Germany!

Danes take an impressive bronze in the Mens Team Pursuit.
GB sub-3.50?

Just mentioned that watching with my kids. Lots of aaaaaarrrrrr-ing.
I noticed in an earlier Rugby7s match,
Team GB brought their own inimitable style to the fast moving game,
when a scrum collapsed.
Well done Fiji, completely deserved.
The way Fiji denied NZ possession, wonderful patient rugby.
