  • OK I thought you meant the -e version

  • Similar shape to the Cambium, but more appropriate to the frame.

  • I'll look into one.

In the meanwhile, chain is on and bike is complete a part from calibrating the handlebar and saddle angles after the first ride planned for the afternoon.

  • It's 8.5Kg! not bad.

  • Just went out for a short ride to the local shop in Hammersmith to let them have a quick look at shifting...best ride I have ever had on a bike.
The combination of the frame, wheels, tyres and groupset is the best I have ever had and it shows...

    Very nice.

  • Good work!

  • Yeah, sorry some of you guys don't like the color combination, but I think it goes well overall.

  • What we think doesn't really matter, as long as you like it. I think it looks cool. I would however put the quick release of the front wheel on the other side and rotate the bars and hoods.

    How does it ride?

  • Not sure why the picture doesn't rotate.

Good point about the skewer. Didn't notice. And yeah bars need rotating a bit. Test ride confirmed it.

Ride is very sweet. Fast and stable, a real pleasure

  • What we think doesn't really matter, as long as you like it.

    This.

  • Brilliant job mate. 8.5kg is a good effort as well. Could probably get it below 8 if you wanted. Look forward to seeing this in person flying around the area!

  • No, I know priority is my own personal taste :)
Just sorry to disappoint you all :-p

Thanks @Thrasher, if you see a yellow dart, that's me!

  • Very nice well done. Impressive weight too, what year is the frame?

  • not sure unfortunately ...

  • I like it, and it looks great in outdoor light!

  • Thanks :)

Can't wait to ride it to work tomorrow morning

  • It looks fine. Just change that saddle and bottle cage to black.

[Did you pop into the Cross Keys for a pint after taking that picture?]

  • No, but I went there in the evening to watch the match

  • Btw I think I'll keep it as is for two reasons:

    1) I kinda like this way , I mean, maybe it can be improved, but it's not horrible.
    2) saddle is surprisingly comfy
    3) just got a yellow/black F.Moser 51.515 bottle which should go in the mix quite well
    4) don't want to spend more money :)

  • I thought you'd have been more impressed with my geographical detective skills than that.

  • I am not easily impressed :)

    Been there or live nearby?

  • I used to drink in Hammersmith and Chiswick a bit. I know the Cross Keys from a Fuller's pub crawl I did with some friends about 5 years ago. But it was actually the church sign in the photograph that gave away the location.

Love the water bottle, but because it is also yellow I think the need for a black bottle cage is more pressing than ever.

  • I can paint the cage :p

  • Sure wasn't this instead of your detective skills ? :-p :-p :) :)
