  • What's going on in that first pic, it looks like there's two bars taped together?

  • The very first one ? Yeah the bars do look strange. I think the bar tape was wrapped in a strange way

  • Gone for black bar tape for the time being.
I will probably change the Flite as I find it the most uncomfortable saddle ever.

  • The 7800 groupset is fantastic and shifts so well and looks great with the frame I feel.

  • The full build comes in at 9.5kg according to my scales not that I was looking for any weight saving components.
It decends so well and is so stable at speed.

  • The bike looks great, congrats! Love the paint in the up close shots
However those shifters cables crossing in front of the head tube looks a bit awkward or is that just me?..

  • Thanks @scorch :) I'm happy with it.

I crossed the cables after looking at numerous photos online of 7800 shifter set ups and it seemed quite common when the groupset was released and when the cables aren't crossed they look as if they could get in the way but time will tell and it's easy to swap.

  • Nice job, @SideshowBob !

  • Great looking bike! I don't think I've ever seen a leader with this group but it works really well. The shifters seem to be mounted a little too high up for my liking but if it's comfortable so be it :)

  • Thanks @WimVDD, @Sig_Arlecchino -
I am pleased with the final build.

  • Finally got some tubs for the build - Ambrosio Nemesis which are superb.
