They behave a million times better in the stadium.
I've never second guessed myself when taking friends Family to a Rugby match. Worried that they might get hurt or abused.
Outside of the stadium rugby fans, especially the English, are certainly no better than any other drunken sports fans. Maybe worse in a lot of ways.

Wales have a better chance than England.. by miles. I can see them beating any of the teams on the left hand side on their day - I can see England maybe beating Iceland, ROI or Slovakia.. Definitely not France, Germany, Spain or Italy though.

Entitled, arrogant, drunken boors vs angry, tattooey, drunken boors. We like them both, but which is better?

I conceded that they weren't violent, and I agree that the atmosphere within the stadium itself is far more civilised than at a football game. That said, the tension at a football match can be quite exhilarating, even if it is perpetrated by some seriously dysfunctional members of society.
Suddenly my bet for the title - Belgium: I went out on a limb because to say France would have been boring and predictable - is looking way more likely than it did just over a week ago.

Croatia have to be the favourite finalist... whomever (if any) gets to final out of Germany, Italy and Spain would have had a full on couple of games.

It feels dirty and wrong to admit it, but it seems that UEFA have actually got summat right in this new 3rd places go through format.

it is confusing, but it gives interest to lots of games that might not otherwise be interesting.
However there was a chance that someone would be eliminated on a 94th miunute yellow card or someting. In those cases I might feel differently
