Where did you get the bike fit done? Was it Norwich? I've been considering one for a while now.
-
• #28
Yeah, at Streetlife. Was fairly comprehensive and the only place nearby with a proper jig AFAIK, which was one of the requirements. Follow-up fit included. Doubt it's up to Scherrit standards, but there we go

Thanks, I'll enquire. I did consider Scherrit but it starts to get pricey when you add in travel & day off work etc.

The other chap I hear recommended most around here is Matt at the Foot Lab, but I'd completely forgotten about him when I was enquiring

After a long, sweaty evening this project has reached its first climax. Tarty pictures tomorrow.

Test ride complete. Next stop chop chop

Always a mare getting the cables the right length on a short headtube . Too tight making it hard to steer or to long and ugly .
Needs a metal head badge. -

First bike I've built where I can't cross them under the downtube, feels weird
-
• #35
This is the real tough decision of the build

No . Two colours only so swap for cyan
-
• #37
More concerned that it's not a perfect match for the pink on the seatstays. Cyan tape would be too much
-
• #38
Yeah a lighter shade of pink would suit it better

Chopped! Looks so much more proportional. And a respectable half-scoblebrick of drop, too. Forgot to ask for a 5mm spacer and plan to replace the stem and axles with swankier versions when it's all bedded in, but we're pretty much there
Someone's happy

Nice! Mahoosive looking chainring.

Compacts are for woosies.
Actually still running the Chorus 12-25 rather than the new 11-28 because I haven't switched the freehub, but no complaints yet. Bike gets plenty of love. Has completed the Dynamo and about to head off to Brittany for a holiday

Nice one! :)
Continental, always. Moto-routing is balls on road bikes with short head tubes.
@PhilDAS should be a hair over 6kg. was 5.8 with the rubbish bar, stem and SLR, but no chain and cables. No real weenie parts
