  • mean, spiteful, racist, impatient and really fucking ignorant

Sounds like anyone outside London and anyone driving in London.
    #brexitburn #bmwburn

  • I really miss Australia

    That's more like it!

  • Yeah. Is there a moving back into London thread?

  • t's on the A40 between West Wycombe & Stokenchurch

I may have pissed in your driveway and for that I am deeply sorry not sorry ;)

  • High Wycombe itself isn't the nicest town

    That's being generous.

I hate reading maps, can't navigate for toffie but even I went out of my way to find roads that went around that shithole of a town.

  • My girlfriend just reminded me of the time she was driving through wycombe town centre with a friend one afternoon, they were chased by some youts on foot down a main road demanding their phone numbers. So she does the same now.

  • @el_presidente

I guess I just compare it to Chesham / Rickmansworth / Chorleywood where you can still use your Oyster card,

Agree. This was one of the reasons we chose Borehamwood. Although we should have held out for Mill Hill.

Ime there's a lot of to be said for being able to pay £12p/d on transport and £20-30 for an Uber home.

Having had family friends from their I'd say the best thing about HW is the house sizes, transport and surrounding area (a bit like Borehamwood). I think there are decent schools if that matters... although when I was young it seemed like kids from there were fairly debauched.

(although this is from the perspective of someone who'd never leave zone 1 North London if they had the money so ymmv)

  • Yeah beckenham works well location wise. Don’t want to be any close in.

Thanks @MrSweary will have a look there. Properly depends where a property comes up. Not super fussed.

  • Bromley bike co is a good shop

  • It was normally yoofs in shitty hatchbacks that were after me. Pretty sure they didn't want my number, although I do have a lovely lycra-clad arse.

  • It was normally yoofs in shitty hatchbacks that were after me.

possibly 17y old me when i was insured on my mums Y-reg Golf

  • Unless you're about 21 now I don't think it was you. Although it might've been the same car..

  • Lottery winners thread >

Anyway who would want to live in London? Full of twats who think they 'know better' than everyone else in the country purely because... actually, I've no fucking idea why. Might be something to do with the pollution and the rage.

  • Probably the self entitlement that comes from knowing you're living in the best city in the world.

  • Ha! Figures.

  • Anyway who would want to live in London?

Most of the people who populate LFGSS.

  • Been meaning to find out what that 'L' stands for.

  • Loose

  • Anyone commute daily along the beckenham line to Victoria? How is it?

  • Used to do it occasionally from Shortlands. 25 mins, reliable. Always got a seat.

  • Thanks. Good to know.

    Cheers @amey

  • It's okay - trains every 15 minutes, busy but not sardine can busy. If you need to get a tube at Victoria it can get bad at peak hours, the trick there is to get off at Brixton BR, walk around the corner and get on the Victoria Line at Brixton Underground station.

  • Ah yeah good point about Brixton change.

Are they reliable, on time and not cancelled?
