  • Cool. Where's the shop? Could I bring the bike down and get a quote?

  • New shop will be open in Dulwich in August.
We're currently full until then but I thought there may be interest in some of the work we're doing at the minute.

  • I can wait till then, it's already had the dent for two years. Would be glad to get the work done by someone local, who is not Mario Vaz. It's a large dent, my main concern will be whether it is possible to improve the shape of the tube with minimal filling.

  • Very keen on This. Been thinking of getting my mx leader resprayed as I dont really like the paint it has at the moment. Is this related to seabass at all?

August is going to be a long wait :(

  • I think Cole Coatings works with SeaBass and others as well, great stuff.. I can't justify new paint on my winter bike quite yet, but if there was a decent forum discount it would be very tempting...

  • @Shroom @Moserism

The current workshop space is based out of Seabass Cycles in Peckham but is fully independent.

There's a new workshop space that we're working on moving to right now. Hence we can't take on new work. Soon...

Forum discount will be significant but I can't really figure it out until we move and can figure out our overheads and boring stuff like that.

  • Consider me as a potential customer. I actually just emailed seabass last week and was told he'll email Dan Cole. He quoted £150 for a single colour with lacquer to your £180 though.

  • Yup.
That's the current entry number for steel/aluminium based on the in-house location at Seabass.

Once the move goes ahead, the base price will increase for sure.

I tend to the email inboxes so it'll likely come to me anyway.

  • aha, fair enough! Cool, cant wait to get this eddy merckx repainted!

  • @privatepatterson good stuff, will be good to see how this progresses!

  • Two tone flip paint...

  • Could you paint a whole frame with the two tone stuff?

  • Rad. How expensive would it be roughly? (So I can start saving/buy something to get it done on)

  • @haveo - I'll have a look for you tomorrow and see if I can find out.
There'll be a comprehensive price list soon enough.

  • Brake hole fill-in hidden under primer

  • subbed - need a decent layer of paint on my frame. I'm afraid my builders paint job, although beautiful, is as durable as soft cheese...

    beautiful work so far.

  • All about that blue/pink fade tbh

  • They did the last two frames I built, both paint jobs were excellent, clear coats are glass-smooth.

  • Full pic of the silver frame plz.

  • Here you go

Mudguards and fork are colour matched too

  • Messaged them via email and insta a few months back but didn't get a reply.
@privatepatterson I'm drop you a text, i potentially have 2 frames that I need resprayed.

  • Looking forward to getting our hands on more of your stuff in the future.
Our new workshop is gonna really help our workflow too.

That Belgian paintjob was really fun to work on. The finished build is really great. Nice work.
