• and carry two spare normal nuts

  • They look neater, but the hexlox look more high tech to me :). I also like having one system for the whole bike

  • I got a referral count for 10%off for orders over 36£ for the person that uses my referral link.... I get a fiver from hexlox.

    pm if interested

  • in case someone wants to steal the wheels and removes the normal nuts...

  • might be slightly overthinking this...this is what cycling in london does to you apparently;)

  • So what size do I need for thomson stem/seatpost to secure bars/saddle?

  • check what size allen bolt they take, my bike has 5mm bolts on stem, seatpost and saddle

  • Bike isn't with me and was looking to order. Also don't know if thomson bolts are magnetic or non magnetic and my google fu is weak

  • hmm in that case, maybe ask the hexlox people directly, they were quite fast in replying to my questions

  • Ha I did this. fast they were but I think some things were lost in translation.

    Thanks for your help

  • hehe, if you need translation help, pm me... I am german too

  • Sounds more like a question for Thompson, or someone who owns those parts and can check for you?

  • I got them at home. Pretty certain stem was 3mm, can’t rwmember seatpost. Whichever matches the Allen key size though

  • Thomspon stems have unusually small bolts.

After having my hexlox things for a while, I find them a total pain to remove. Wanted to adjust my seatpost height the other day and I nearly gave up

  • hmm. interesting. I jsut hate the cable thing that pitlock do attaching it to the collar.

  • do agree that sometimes it takes a bit of time to get the key to bind in the right place. on the whole tho no complaints

  • One of mine broke. Pulled out the outer and the innie was still in the hole. Managed to get both free. Lucky I was at home.

Hexlox replaced with no problems. But confidence in the product shaken.

  • Saying that. I still us them. I'd love atomic22 to ressurect. But hexlox seems like the next best thing.

  • Hey guys, I just started working for Hexlox as their Content Manager. Would anyone be interested in sending me some cool pics of your Hexlox on your bikes? I will feature them on our social media and of course, you will be credited! It would be cool if you wrote a quick review with your picture

    Let me know :)

  • I don’t mind taking a few pics.

  • Nice one, can you send to chris (at) hexlox dot com

    Cheers

  • Currently 25% off for Black Friday.

Ordered set of 5 + 1 extra one which I'll spread across 3 bikes I use the most for lock ups (just seat collar and top cap bolt).

  • Gah, wish I'd thought of that before I bought the bloomin overpriced Robert axle project TA a month or two ago! Cannot fault these products though - my hexlox have already paid for themselves at least thrice

  • Has anyone had bother getting these out after they've been in a while? Mine have been in for a couple years and totally forgot about them until a dropped the bike into a shop earlier to have a few bits sorted. When I went in to take them out after the shop rang me I managed to get the one important one out but it took a while. Worried about corrosion or general gunk making it a nightmare to get the rest out now
