Super clamp / Italian clamp to a Magic arm (if needed) to a small ballhead (if needed).
Don't forget multiple spigot adapters, 1/4 and 3/8, male and female etc. -

Yeah, that's what I've got in mind but wondering if something cheeseplatey exists that could fit to the base of the ballhead or to the legs. Bit like this I guess:

Anyone got some Olympus M43 lens they want to sell?
A friend is looking to get a 12-40 F2.8 Pro and I'm looking for the 17mm F.1.8 one

What I went with in the end. Not perfect if I want to adjust the b-cam but will suffice until I can bring myself to invest in another 100mm head. Got 5 cases of gear down to 3 bags so just enough to solo.

looks like it got the job done!
what's that sony? how do you find the footage and ergonomics?

The small or the big one?
A6500 + FS7. Footage on both great. A6500 4k is dreamy, 1080 a bit muddy by comparison.
FS7 the standard camera at the moment. Been around a while and there's an FS7 mk2 but realistically the image quality upgrades are negligible (just a fancier ND option for the most). We've used them for low budg commercials with the RAW add-on and they more than hold their own. Since the picture it's been really stripped down to body only so I could cram it in as few bags as possible. -

ah - the little one - a6500! used the FS7 lots at work (broadcast)

Givning this away to whoever wants it as (maybe donate a couple of pounds to the forum).
Have put a roll of film and battery in it, seems to be working. Shutter button is a bit tricky, but otherwise in good condition.

Anyone looking to sell a Sony Nex 3N or similar? Dropping my last one on concrete seems to have killed it off.

I've still got a Fujifilm 23mm F2 lens if anyone wants one, great lens - I found I used it almost all the time so got the F1.4.

Nice, we went the Panasonic route: EVA1 paired with GH5S.
There are times that I wish we went Sony.
-
• #796
How's the EVA? An operator friend has been raving about them but not had a chance to try yet. Would be really into the GH5 but figured I'd hang around and see if an A7S3 ever materialised given our general reliance on FS7/FS5 for day to day shooting.
4 channels of audio internally in the FS7 is basically the main selling point for us.

Im still on the Fs7o0/7q route and A7smk2. I do fancy one of they 6500 for travelling this summer tho.

Anyone got a 6x7 camera they would consider selling?
Anyone got any shit rig solutions to attach a small mirrorless camera to a tripod? Have a job next week I don't want to bring two tripods to and the second angle is just a static wide. So wouldn't want to fix it anything above the head as the head will move/track the subject. Needs to fit to the legs but wouldn't want to screw anything on so tight it crushes them. I guess maybe a Super Clamp attached to a magic arm attached to some kind of bracket. Will maybe test a few things out to see which can support the most weight but if anyone knows of something that already exists I'd be curious to know. Unfortunately the tripod I'll use isn't a big heavy studio thing like a mini salon so doesn't have any bars sticking out horizontally I can mount something to. Unless I get a bigger tripod for the job which is a possibility.
