  • Ha. Just sold my sets! Try emailing CVP or Visuals rather than just looking on their sites. They have tons of stuff they don't list.

Visuals send out an email each week with a list of stock they're looking to shift.

You could also ask some friendly sound recordists to keep ears to the floor. Maybe Better Sound or somewhere as well might be looking to upgrade and will sell you some G3s?

  • ask some friendly sound recordists to keep ears to the floor

..ok I guess they will be able to pick up some vibrations, this won't help recording things though!

  • Might help composing though, if you’re Beethoven’s descendant.

  • Anybody interested on a Ricoh GR (first gen ) with a year old new motherboard. Shutter count at less than 1000k. Let me know and I'll get some pictures and more details.

  • Got a Sony RX100 Mk4 for sale, just sitting in my cupboard doing nothing these days and need money for other stuff rn.

  • Not that Mrs-swm would allow it, but how much were you looking to sell the RX100 for?

  • Anyone running a OMD EM1 mk2 or Panasonix G9 these days?

  • Also potentially interested in this after @swmlon / depending on price

  • Depending on the outcome of the above would anyone be interested in a Sony Nex 5 with the 18-55 lens, 3 batteries, charger and case for £120?

  • If anyone is wondering Nikon threaded cups fit Fujifilm

    cc: @Dammit

  • I need to figure that out, gonna dig it out tomorrow night and get some photos.

  • Just putting a feeler out there, but got the following I'm looking to sell for the mini-swm #2 fund. I've got the following to sell:

    1. Nikon D750 w/ charger and 2x 64gb SD cards
    2. Nikon 35mm f1.4 AFS
    3. Nikon 50mm f1.8 AFS

All items are in good condition and bought new by me. Will take some photos tonight if there is some interest.

  • How much for the camera and the lenses? (individually)

Was about to get a used D610 today...

  • Was looking to get £750 for the D750, £850 for the 35mm f1.4 and £135 for the 50mm f1.8G. If you've seen for less from genuine sellers then I'd consider it.

  • Hard to say, one guy on Facebook marketplace is selling it for £600 (195k shutter count though), and one for £650 (shutter count 97k) with grip. But these are the cheapest, many others around your price tag which is a fair one and the one I was actually expecting to see.

    That 35mm is sweet.

  • Yeah, wasn't sure if I had priced it up right or not but I think I did.

The 35mm is a great lens, I had sold most of my other lens because this covered damn near all my needs. Will be a shame to see it and all the kit go, but needs must.

  • Indeed, good luck with the sale though, I'm jumping into full frame, but not sure I'd stick with it, so need to keep costs down ;)

  • Anyone got any knowledge on these? From googling it seems to be a super 8 lens. Would love to adapt it onto a film slr somehow. God knows how it focuses or controls aperture. The rear part unscrews and has threads. If its not going to be possible does anyone want it?

  • Some (most) were for video cameras, or fixed lenses. You screw it onto the front of a lens and it makes the image wide angle/fisheye. You unscrew an element and get macro. They are heavy and no good for plastic lenses or ones where the front element rotates/moves.

  • Try work out what filter thread it is, maybe you can attach it to a standard/wide lens

  • 35 1.4 the only lense I'd still love to own for my Nikon but not now.

  • If you've seen for less from genuine sellers then I'd consider it.

Those are a bit high. I'd always start by looking at CEX prices and adjusting yours downward (as they offer a two year guarantee, whilst I guess you do not).

  • Selling my Sony NEX5 if anyone is interested: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/333100/#comment14706757

  • Anyone selling a not too expensive video tripod? After something fairly sturdy that'll take around 6 or 7kg. I have a lighter weight tripod that I use for most things, but portability isn't always essential and it'd be nice to have something a bit more solid as well.

  • I have a Manfrotto pan/tilt head going spare. Let me dig it out and check current prices if you want to do things properly with suitable head/leg combo.

I also have some super heavy duty Calumet legs in the loft if i remember.
