Sparky's murdered-out road bike

So, BBs... I have BB30 which I've just bought the tool to install. But my cranks are Ultegra Hollowtech. There's an adapter in the box which looks as though it pushes into the bearing. But when I fit it to the crank spindle there's a tiny, tiny bit of play. Is that normal?

Once the preload is set that play will probably disappear

@Howard Not sure was OS cranks are, to be honest. If possible I'd like to keep the whole groupset matching. If you think the play will disappear under preload then I'll give that a go with my current bits and see what happens. If it develops a click or creak then I'll consider getting the Praxis BB that people seem to rave about.

Gotcha. I'm hoping though that I can get away without spending more. This is a bit of a budget build and I still need to acquire wheels and bars.

Buy the Specialized cranks, they're rad. Almost as good as Campag UltraTorque.
